2023, 39(2): 133-140. doi: 10.19979/j.cnki.issn10082689.2022100040
Abstract(640) HTML (242) PDF(124)
Abstract:
In constructing first-class universities with “undergraduate-oriented, four returns” characteristics, the value, content and method of the undergraduate education evaluation system have attracted widespread attention. In the field of value, there is a global trend to promote the first-class undergraduate education amid the “great changes unseen in a century”. The cultivation of talents also shoulders a great responsibility to meet the needs of realizing the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, and it is also a concrete embodiment of the Marxist concept of human development in the macro dimension. In the field of content, the current evaluation system of undergraduate education in China’s “double first-class” colleges and universities generally shows the diversity of the evaluation system, the systematization of internal logic, and the comprehensiveness of the content dimension. This suggests that the student evaluation system of first-class undergraduate education with Chinese characteristics should make a construction that adapts to its value and content in terms of value orientation, evaluation form and evaluation system.

Abstract(348) HTML (172) PDF(67)
Abstract:
University curriculum reform is the key issue in university education reform under high-quality development, and the construction of curriculum objectives is the logical starting point to promote curriculum reform. The research shows that the key competencies of university students is a concentrated reflection of the demand for higher education talents in the new era on the personality of university students, and is a concentration of key competency elements for students’ development. Taking students’ key competencies as the orientation of curriculum objectives is an effective way to improve the quality of university curriculum, which has the relevance of value orientation, the feasibility of theoretical direction and the particularity of objective construction. This study designs a key-competencies-oriented conceptual model of curriculum objectives, and analyzes the three key elements of the model: concept, technology and transformation to further demonstrate the problem elements that should be grasped in the application of objective construction.

2023, 39(2): 156-163. doi: 10.19979/j.cnki.issn10082689.2022120014
Abstract(300) HTML (91) PDF(70)
Abstract:
Facing the rapid growth of society in the information age, this paper carries out the cultivating practice of highly qualified application-oriented innovative talents who are not only proficient in mechanical design and manufacturing, but also good at intelligent system design and application. It aims to construct a paradigm of curriculum system that combines large class training and individual growth in mechanical engineering. The connotative construction of mechanical engineering will be integrated with information characteristics, which can upgrade and transform the traditional mechanical design and manufacturing and automation majors, and build new interdisciplinary robotics engineering. In this study, we integrate information characteristics and practical innovation into the compulsory general education, design a four-in-one (i.e., “learning-experience-nurturing-innovation”) general elective course system, and build a professional foundation of “machinery + information” interdisciplinary intersection. We also innovate a hierarchical and progressive whole-project professional course system, and form a paradigm of “comprehensive development−solid foundation−multi-path selection” course system. The organization and implementation of the curriculum system paradigm can innovate the “major course” project-led integration of non-technical ability training, the “major practice platform” real-scene multi-path training, and the “golden course”-led classroom teaching method reform, and provide effective guarantee for the realization of the curriculum system paradigm with satisfactory training results. Also, our study provides theoretical and practical experiences for other universities to advance the reform of related majors and talents training.

Abstract(415) HTML (202) PDF(29)
Abstract:
The report of the 20th Party Congress proposed to comprehensively improve the quality of independent cultivation of talents and accelerate the construction of a high-quality education construction system. It opens a new stage in the history of Chinese education development. Taking the development of new engineering disciplines as an opportunity, USTB prompts a new phase of reform in cultivating engineering talents. The comprehensive tutorial system for undergraduates insists on moral education, which is an effective initiative to deepen education and teaching reform centered on students, and an important exploration and practice for high-level teachers to cultivate first-class undergraduates. This paper expounds the connotation of the comprehensive tutorial system for undergraduates, compares the relationship between the cultivation achievements and the construction of first-class undergraduate majors in the context of 3E(Emerging Engineering Education), and evaluates its actual implementation based on the user satisfaction theory. The results reveal that there are continuous improvements in both strengthening the construction of faculty, the cultivation of talents in new engineering and the research on university teacher-student relationship, and perfecting the supporting system.

2023, 39(2): 174-180. doi: 10.19979/j.cnki.issn10082689.2022070047
Abstract(884) HTML (3666) PDF(235)
Abstract:
The Party and the State have always attached great importance to the employment of college and university students. Especially since the 18th CPC National Congress, college and university students’ employment has been placed in a prominent position. It is an inevitable requirement for colleges and universities to promote full employment and implement the fundamental task of strengthening moral education and cultivating people with a scientific definition of college and university students’ employment competitiveness, an accurate evaluation of its influencing factors, and the effective promotion of college and university students’ employment competitiveness. The employment competitiveness of college and university students in the new era can be analyzed from both subjective and objective dimensions. The subjective dimension mainly involves personal qualities, while the objective dimension mainly involves the achievement of employment goals. This study finds that there are mainly three factors, namely, personal factors, family factors, and school factors, that influence college and university students’ employment competitiveness. Therefore, three aspects of measures can be emphasized to improve the employment competitiveness of college and university students. They are insisting on “Simultaneous Development of Five Types of Education” to improve their comprehensive quality, actively expanding new paths and approaches to family-school co-education, and laying a solid foundation in college and university students’ career education.

LIU Chang-jun, WANG Dong-yu
2023, 39(2): 181-187. doi: 10.19979/j.cnki.issn10082689.2022120005
Abstract(288) HTML (316) PDF(29)
Abstract:
Marxism is not only the guiding ideology but also the fundamental theoretical support for the construction of the “Great Ideological and political course”. There is a direct inheritance relationship between the fundamental task of cultivating people with virtue emphasized by the “Great Ideological and Political Course” and the free and comprehensive development of human beings highlighted by Marxism. The thought of comprehensive development is of great significance to dismantle the “one-sided” disadvantages of talent training. The “Great Ideological and Political Course” advocates giving full play to the “synergistic effect” among various departments and links, which is highly compatible with the systematic concept of dialectical materialism. It provides methodological guidance for promoting the construction of “Great Ideological and Political course” from the perspective of the overall situation. The contradictory relationship between the constituent elements of “Great Ideological and Political Course”, and between the “Great Ideological and Political Course” and the whole body can be well explained by the Marxist theory of contradiction. The new ideas and thoughts formed by the “Great Ideological and Political Course” based on the practice of socialism with Chinese characteristics can be expounded clearly by the Marxist epistemology of practice, understanding, re-practice and re-understanding. Overall, the construction of “Great Ideological and Political Course” requires not only Marxism as its theoretical basis, but also the combination of the basic theories of Marxism with the practice of “Great Ideological and Political Course” to constantly promote the innovative developments of “Great Ideological and Political Course”.

2023, 39(2): 195-202. doi: 10.19979/j.cnki.issn10082689.2022100104
Abstract(211) HTML (150) PDF(12)
Abstract:
The construction of ideological and political courses is entering a new stage for exploring the connotative development. Facing the fundamental requirements for changes from quantity to quality, it is necessary to clarify the logic of the connotative development of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities from four dimensions including theory, value, reality and practice. To exert the practical effect of "cultivating people with virtue" in ideological and political courses in colleges and universities, it is also indispensable to rely on the requirements of the connotative development of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities, analyze the current dilemma correctly, and implement a coordinated promotion from four dimensions such as assessment system, teaching content, teachers team, and student subject. Probing into the four dimensions of the connotative development of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities enables us to have a deeper understanding of the theoretical implications and practical requirements of the connotative development of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities. It can also allow us to more deeply understand the importance of connotative development in promoting ideological and political courses in colleges and universities to exert political and value guidance..

2023, 39(2): 203-210. doi: 10.19979/j.cnki.issn10082689.2022070086
Abstract(276) HTML (154) PDF(24)
Abstract:
This study analyzes the construction of big science innovation system (BISI) in China based on the theoretical framework of actor network. The government, in its interaction with the big science infrastructure, identifies the BISI with the technology function of the big science infrastructure, and thus becomes the key actor in the construction of the BISI. The main actors in the construction of BISI are composed of scientific research institutes, universities, enterprises, and big science infrastructure. However, different from other actors, enterprises under the current translation strategy have not accepted recruitment and mobilization, thus leaving the construction of actor network unfinished. The study also recommends that the government needs to explore and formulate science and technology policies to both afford the risks of enterprise participation and cultivate the technological capabilities of enterprises, to make enterprises become active actors in the construction of BISI.

2023, 39(2): 224-232. doi: 10.19979/j.cnki.issn10082689.2022110068
Abstract(243) HTML (188) PDF(20)
Abstract:
Rethinking the significance of theory to the study of administrative science can provide a possible path to produce experience-oriented administrative theory, and promote the knowledge growth in the study of administrative science. For the study of administration, the theory can deepen the understanding for the government and its behavior connotation, and provide the dynamic explanation for government reform and social change. Furthermore, it can influence the government’s judgment on the meaning of the value by establishing and revising the normative value, and sequentially promote the public order. At present, the development of administrative theory is hindered by such problems as insufficient research on government ontology, method overriding problem awareness, and the structuralization degree of knowledge production. It is thus necessary to set up standard research thinking, which includes establishing the sense of shuttle between the experience world and theory, cultivating the standardized structured knowledge production thinking from concept, proposition to theory, and exploring the general administrative knowledge hidden behind specific situations.

Abstract(223) HTML (108) PDF(16)
Abstract:
Political science is the product of the times. Since the reform and opening up, China’s government research has always been based on the great practice of building socialism with Chinese characteristics. On the whole, the research achievements and academic progress made by China’s government research institutes are remarkable and have become an indispensable factor in the reform of the Chinese government. On the other hand, influenced by trends of “public management of political science” and “governance of government research”, research on “Government as a field” has made great progress, dominating in terms of quantity and attention. Macro and major issues have begun to be “cool off”, and basic research has gradually been marginalized. Therefore, the study of “government as an ontology” should be brought back to the political science community to balance the two types of government studies. It enables the government to integrate into the overall situation of the times, focus on core issues, form effective dialogues, achieve key breakthroughs, and strive to serve the realization of Chinese modernization.
