Ecological Marxism’s Critique of Economic Reason
LIU Xiao-yi, SU Bai-yi
2022, 38(1): 10-17. doi: 10.19979/j.cnki.issn10082689.2021110050
Abstract(466) HTML (218) PDF(70)
Abstract:
Ecological Marxism is an important foreign Marxist theory school formed by the combination of ecology and Marxism. Facing the modern capitalist society, under the economic rationality of “more is better”, from production to consumption, people get lost in the “cage” of consumerism and find it difficult to extricate themselves. This leads to the extreme plunder of natural resources and causes serious ecological crisis. For this reason, ecological Marxism is based on Marx’s relationship between man and nature, and uses ecological rationality to eliminate economic rationality, slow down economic growth, overcome false consumption, and achieve ecological reconstruction. Ecological Marxism’s critical theory of economic rationality has important reference significance for the construction of our country’s socialist ecological civilization.

LIN Wei
2022, 38(1): 24-32. doi: 10.19979/j.cnki.issn10082689.2021100075
Abstract(844) HTML (390) PDF(91)
Abstract:
Attaching importance to youth work has always been the fine tradition of the Communist Party of China. This year is the centenary since the founding of the Communist Youth League. Reviewing the logic and experience of the Communist Youth League’s youth work over the century will be of great benefit to the Communist Youth League’s youth work in the new era. From the theoretical basis, the leaders of the Communist Party of China in successive generations carry out the youth work of the Communist Youth League under the guidance of Marxism, which provide a rich theoretical source for the youth work of the Communist Youth League. From a historical perspective, the youth work of the Communist Youth League has experienced four stages to initiate youth to participate in the revolution, to encourage them to work hard, to excite them to innovate and make progress, and to educate them to build a successful career. From the perspective of practice characteristics, Youth League work of the Communist Youth League always adheres to the combination of political and mass nature, keeping pace with the times and adjusting measures to local conditions, and adheres to the combination of theory and practice. From the perspective of experience and enlightenment, the youth work of the Communist Youth League should serve the overall situation of the center and grasp the direction of progress, adhere to the party’s leadership and grasp the political orientation, attach importance to group construction and give full play to unique advantages, pay attention to practice and improve working methods, and change work style and strengthen weak links.
Functional Linguistics
A Narrow Definition of Ecolinguistics and Review of Extant Literature Abroad
ZHANG Hui-yu, YE Chen-can
2022, 38(1): 33-43. doi: 10.19979/j.cnki.issn10082689.2021020031
Abstract(591) HTML (320) PDF(84)
Abstract:
Visualized Citespace analysis shows that extant ecolinguistics studies are with vague boundaries. Based on literature analysis, this paper points out that although ecolinguistics now broadly incorporates discourse analysis of ecology or language of ecology, a narrow definition of ecolinguistics pinpoints at ecology of language. Following the narrow definition, we further review extant studies abroad on the relationship between ecology of language and language evolution, language reservation, dominant language, bilingualism and multilingualism, and find that previous studies have obvious limitations in defining boundary, approach, content as well as methodology, which are expected to be improved in future work. This paper maintains that future studies of ecolinguistics may borrow mature concepts, models, theories and methods from the ecology discipline, pay more attention to the interaction between language and environment, and thus extend research contexts and approaches.
Discourse Strategies of Affiliating Writers with Putative Readers in Newspaper Editorials: An Individuation Perspective in Systemic Functional Linguistics
LIU Fei-fei, CHANG Chen-guang
2022, 38(1): 44-50. doi: 10.19979/j.cnki.issn10082689.2021010020
Abstract(490) HTML (248) PDF(53)
Abstract:
Editorial writers assume the existence of some putative readers and communicate with these readers in the writing process to influence their opinions and persuade them into the positions of the editorials. Drawing on the discourse semantic systems of appraisal and ideation and the individuation cline in Systemic Functional Linguistics, this study explores the patterns of affiliation and the strategies of affiliating with putative readers in newspaper editorials, using the editorials from China Daily as the data. The analyses show that editorial writers affiliate with the putative readers through the couplings of [attitudinal value + ideational entity], which are combined together into a syndrome of couplings through the taxonomic relations between entities, such as superordination and composition. This study develops the individuation cline and provides a new perspective for exploring the persuasive nature of editorial discourse.

ZHU Yong-hua, ZHU Lei
2022, 38(1): 51-58. doi: 10.19979/j.cnki.issn10082689.2021040054
Abstract(386) HTML (307) PDF(56)
Abstract:
In order to enrich linguistic study under the epidemic and longitudinal analysis of identity construction, this thesis attempts to figure out diachronic change in identity construction of young medical workers since the outbreak of the epidemic, based upon Attitude system in Appraisal Theory. It shows that the news from the people.cn website construct three identities sequentially, namely brave and responsible backbone model, patriotic and conscientious “epidemic fighter”, and honourable hero of people. The Attitude resources used for constructing the three identities vary significantly. The former two identities are constructed mainly by intensive use of Tenacity resources, while the latter both Judgment resources and Appreciation resources. Additionally, by using Propriety and Capacity together, the first identity is constructed; the second identity, by contrast, is constructed by using Veracity along with Capacity.

ZHAO Bo-wen
2022, 38(1): 59-66. doi: 10.19979/j.cnki.issn10082689.2021050078
Abstract(379) HTML (208) PDF(36)
Abstract:
This paper examines the register mechanism and interaction of the “NP Zhi AP” in modern Chinese. The whole register attribute of “NP Zhi AP” has a dilemma between formal and classic, and the register attribute of internal components involves three characteristics: formal, informal and classic. To identify its register attributes from the perspectives of communicative and grammatical spatio-temporal characteristics, it is proposed that the existing identification standards need to distinguish the register attributes between whole and part. From the perspective of the relationship between structure and composition, this paper analyzes the interaction and coordination mechanism of “NP of AP” in prosody, register and syntactic aspects, and the interaction of whole-part and register-style.

YE Fei, LIAO Cheng-zhu, ZHANG Jian-bo, LI Yan-yan, LI Hui-li
2022, 38(1): 67-72. doi: 10.19979/j.cnki.issn10082689.2021090042
Abstract(413) HTML (963) PDF(76)
Abstract:
The ability to solve complex engineering problems has become the core of training new engineering talents. Experimental teaching is an essential part of training students’ engineering practical ability. Hence, it plays an irreplaceable role in training new engineering talents. In order to promote the integration of modern information technology and experimental teaching, it is necessary to establish a hybrid teaching model suitable for experimental teaching. Because MOOC and virtual simulation experiments in the independent application do not provide a similar experience as offline experimental teaching, they only play a supplementary role in hybrid teaching. This paper suggests deep integration of them on a unified platform to realize flexible interaction between video teaching, explanatory note, and virtual simulation experiment, leading to a new online experimental course. This online experimental course realizes the complementary advantages of MOOC and virtual simulation experiments, combines theory and experimental teaching, and can independently complete online experimental teaching. Consequently, it combines with offline experimental teaching forming a hybrid experimental teaching mode of deep interaction between online and offline teaching.

ZHU Yuan, XIAO Jia-xin
2022, 38(1): 94-102. doi: 10.19979/j.cnki.issn10082689.2021090016
Abstract(980) HTML (216) PDF(80)
Abstract:
Compliance system is a governance mechanism established by enterprises to operate in accordance with laws and regulations, prevent and control enterprise risks and obtain legal incentives. It is regarded as a special corporate governance method and government management tool. In addition to undertaking social missions, social enterprises face the same corporate governance problems as ordinary enterprises, including enterprise compliance. However, social enterprises have different characteristics from ordinary enterprises, and they will face many problems when applying the traditional enterprise compliance system. On the one hand, there are contradictions between organizational objectives, governance structure, the lack of operating funds and the application of traditional enterprise compliance system within social enterprises, and on the other hand, outside social enterprises are faced with the problems of “lagging” and “no discrepancy” in compliance with government regulations. In this regard, we should solve it from the following two aspects in combination with the essential attributes of the compliance system and the basic characteristics of social enterprises: at the level of corporate governance, we should cultivate a diversified board of directors, cultivate a compliance culture based on values, attract stakeholders to participate in the compliance construction process, and select a staff team that advocates mission; at the level of government management, we should widely carry out social cooperation and identify the compliance needs of enterprises.
The Constitutional Meanings of the Right of Habitation Norms in the Civil Code
YU Wen-qing
2022, 38(1): 103-110. doi: 10.19979/j.cnki.issn10082689.2021110011
Abstract(291) HTML (536) PDF(59)
Abstract:
The right of habitation stipulated in the Civil Code of the People’s Republic of China contains strong constitutional elements. The principle of socialism and the basic right clauses articulated in the Constitution are fundamental values for protections of the right of habitation in civil law and constitute the background norms of interpretation of the right of habitation in civil law. According to the principle of constitution, such as disposition of basic rights, restriction of basic rights and conflict of basic rights, the disposition of right of habitation is subject to certain restriction and the protection of constitution’s “weakness” nature. In dealing with civil cases in which citizens’ right of habitation conflicts with other citizens’ rights and administrative cases in which the state expropriates and requisitions property based on public interests, the court should cultivate the constitution consciousness at the macro level, and distinguish the different positions of constitutional validity in “judgment basis” and “judgment reason” at the micro level, so as to accurately explain and guide the application of the civil law residence right norms based on the principle of constitutional fundamental rights.

Subject Advantage and Initiative Connection: The Action Logic of Cadres Stationed in Villages in Rural Revitalization
LIU Yang, WANG Bo-cheng
2022, 38(1): 111-118. doi: 10.19979/j.cnki.issn10082689.2021100107
Abstract(241) HTML (215) PDF(52)
Abstract:
In the practice of rural revitalization strategy, the subjectivity of cadres stationed in villages as actors has been obscured to a certain extent, the integrity and unity of national governance have obscured the differences and diversity of content and performance of resident village assistance, and on the basis of important resources provided by the institutional structure of assistance in the village, the subjective action of full dedication of cadres stationed in villages still needs further attention. Through the case study on the resident village assistance practice of G provincial unit, it is found that although the cadres stationed in villages are subject to structural constraints such as hierarchy, resources and governance, they can make full use of their institutional advantages, resource advantages and professional advantages, and actively play their subject advantages to provide initiative guarantee for helping rural revitalization. At the same time, cadres stationed in villages use personal capital and personal social capital to build the organization connection, resource connection and interest connection inside and outside the village area, fully demonstrate the subjectivity and initiative of the assistance action, and supplement strong subject energy for the smooth promotion of the comprehensive rural revitalization.
