Abstract: Ryunosuke Akutagawa created 34 Chinese poems in his life, whereas 8 of them were written in the fourth year of Taisho.He made a thorough study on all the poems in his collections of Chinese poems, and annotated and commented on some of them.Based on these annotations and comments on the poems, the authors make an analysis of the distinguishing characteristics and the origin of the 8 Chinese poems created in the fourth year of Taisho in the article.Meanwhile, the effects by the 8 Chinese poems on his earlier literary creation is discussed in the article.
