Abstract: As an indispensable part of text, the paratext brings a new angle to the analysis of translation works.Lu Xun leaves lots of versions, letters related with translation, and paratexts.This paper makes an analytical study on prefaces, postscripts, excursuses, catalogs and iconograph to Lu Xun's translation works, and discusses the role of paratexts in supplementing and expanding the translation, projecting the translator's view, and promoting the communication between the translator and the readers, so that a better understanding of Lu Xun's contribution to the Chinese literature translation can be formed.
