Abstract: This article makes an empirical analysis of listed companies' technological efficiency in Chinese steel industrial from 2000 to 2006 and some conclusion are drawn.The technological progress of Chinese steel industry is significant 2000 from to the present.The substitute of technology vs labour is significant.The improvement of technological efficiency in this 7 years is not obvious.Some big companies' technological efficiency is rising gradually but other companies' technological efficiency is falling.The significant factors affecting technologic efficiency include firm scale, the ratio of liquid equity, top executive compensation, region difference between east and other place.And non-significant factors include state equity ration, the life-span of company, the scale of directorate, the difference between the middle and the west.
