The Study of Foreign Language Teaching Competition within the Framework of Multimodal Discourse Analysis

摘要: 本文在多模态话语分析理论框架下,依据多模态外语教学课堂的体裁结构及其模态选择与搭配,定性描述并分析了第二届“外教社杯”全国大学英语教学大赛听说组和综合组一、二、三等奖共12名参赛选手的教学录像,研究提出了外语教学比赛多模态话语的体裁结构并指出了其模态选择与搭配特点。该研究不仅能为外语教学比赛的评审提供参考,也对外语课堂教学的开展有一定的借鉴意义。Abstract: The paper, within the framework of multimodal discourse analysis, based on the multimodal generic structure of classroom foreign language teaching and the choice and corresponding combination of models, qualitatively describes the videos of 12 contestants in the 2nd National College English Teaching Contest.The study generalizes about the generic structure, choice and combination of models for foreign language teaching competition.The findings might be reliable reference for competition grading and classroom teaching.
