Abstract: Zhou Yang has a profound effect on the new Chinese literature theory textbooks. There are mainly two aspects through studying three national textbooks. Firstly, he integrates ideology and esthetic into the inspection scope simultaneously, which was generally accepted by afterward textbooks. Secondly, he joins the criticism theory into the foundation of the Soviet system. Thus he advocates four parts in literature theory textbook. That consummates the system of literature theory textbook to a certain extent.
