Abstract: During the years from 1920 to 1927, Chen Du xiu had worked extremely hard and bitterly to probe into the developing road of Chinese economy. With the change of his view of the world and the practice of his political struggle, Chen Du xiu's social economic theory went through three stages of evolution:from January 1920 to July 1922, the socialist method of production was pointed out to develop economy; from August 1922 to February 1923, the frame of his social economic theory was formed; from May 1923 to July 1927,a some integrated economic theory was developed finally. Chen Du xiu argued that to develop economy, China must take the socialist road, which should be divided into two stages.
