Abstract: The Sinological Pedigree (Hanxue Shicheng Ji), compiled by Jiang Fan, is an important work of academic thoughts in Qing Dynasty. For a long time, people have various comments on it. On the whole, it always associates with the struggle between the Chinese studies of Qing Dyuasty(Qing Dai Han Xue) and the School of Song Dynasty(Song Xue Pai). Actually, the objective of this book is not to promote the Chinese studies of Qing Dyuasty(Qing Dai Han Xue) and to exclude the studies of Song Dynasty(Song Xue Pai). The underlying motivation is to present, to preach, and to practice the theory. This is an embodiment of the identity consciousness of traditional Confucian under the new historical conditions.
