Postmodernist Poetry in America

摘要: 后现代主义的思潮起源于北美洲的文学批评,在2 0世纪6 0年代,它仿佛成为美国特色的代名词。通过考察美国的后现代诗歌可以从中得到一个关于后现代思潮的典型景观。文章对美国后现代诗歌做了较为全面的探讨,并试图就目前较为有争议的后现代诗歌的界定以及后现代诗歌的美学特征等方面问题在一定程度上做出回答。Abstract: The origin of postmodernism may be traced back to North American literary criticism. In the 1960s, it seems that this term is the symbol of America. So, we can get an overall outlook of postmodernism by studying postmodernist American poetry. This paper made a careful study of postmodernist American poetry and made an attempt to answer some of the disputable questions concerning with its definition and aesthetic features.
