Abstract: It is full of fallacies in the paper “Farewell to Traditional Chinese Medicine and Remedies” by Zhang Gongyao: the basic knowledge including basic principles is not accurate enough;the views are extremely biased and short of sufficient demonstration;the research methods do not meet the academic standard, and the selected argument is arbitrary;and there are errors in concepts, propositions, logical reasoning and the text itself.The deficiency of Zhang Gongyao's academic accomplishment may be the main cause of so many fallacies.And the lack of normal academic criticism in the academic circles, and the inefficiency of the educational and scientific research administrative institutions in punishment of the academic misconducts, are all the social reasons for the academic misconducts as Zhang Gongyao's.
