Abstract: The radical social changes between the Sino Japan War of 1894-1895 to the May 4th Movement caused the changes and development of modern architecture, and it also caused the complex changes of social psychology of architecture. This theme discusses the influence and interaction between modern architecture and social psychology, explains its relationship from the point of saving nation, mentality of democracy and science, relationship between Sino west architecture and blind faith in foreign things.
