A Study on the Possibility and Strategy of Social Work Intervening in the Recovery Process of Patients with Mental Illness in Community

摘要: 目前我国社区精神疾病防治康复工作主要集中在精神疾病患者的药物生理治疗和管理以及精神卫生健康的教育宣传等方面,与实际的需要存在巨大的差距,也与国外成功的社区精神疾病防治康复的先进理念存在不小的距离。社会工作作为社区精神疾病防治康复的一支重要力量,在精神疾病患者社区康复过程中存在巨大的发展空间,需要将心理和社会方面的工作结合起来,配合药物治疗,从多个切入点介入,注重精神疾病患者及其家庭本身资源的运用。Abstract: The community-based mental health services in Mainland China mainly focuses on the medical treatment and management of patients with mental illness as well as on the mental health education. This cannot meet the high demand from families with mental patients and has a great distance from the advanced principles and concept of successful community mental health services in foreign countries. As one important force of the community mental health service, social work has a great potential for development. It should combine psychotherapy with social support and make full use of the resources of patients with mental illness and thier family members.
