Abstract: In the Spring and Autumn Period, the production of handicraft industry entered a stage of unprecedented prosperity than ever before.Prosperous handicraft production had an important influence on the commercial production and its development of that period, mainly reflected in the following aspects: first, private manufacturing production mode led to the existence of merchant group;second, the development and prosperity of trade in goods depended on the development of handicraft industry, and development of handicraft industry promoted commodity trade extensively;third, large-scale production and circulation of currency promoted the further deepening of commodity-money relations.
