摘要: 索尔·贝娄是二十世纪重要的小说家,文章将结构主义的分析方法和他的小说中的二项对立结构结合,从语言和意义角度阐释贝娄二项对立的主张,并且从文化角度寻找这种思维的注脚,多角度的将贝娄小说中的二项对立艺术特征加以展现。Abstract: Saul Bellow is an important novelist in 20th century. This paper tries to integrate the analytic method of structuralism and the Binary opposition in his novels,and to illuminate Bellow’s Binary opposition from the angles of language and meaning. Still more, it tries to find footnotes for the Binary opposition proposition from the angle of culture,and show a detailed picture of Bellow’s art of Binary opposition.
