Abstract: Student Participation in the management of university is an important part in the research on the internal management of university. In western countries, such kind of management as student participation in the management of university has long been adopted by many universities. This paper takes student participation in the management of university in western countries as the subject of the research, makes a study on its foundation from 4 aspects of history, thought, right and tendency of university development, introduces 3 patterns of student participation in the management, and analyses its influence on university.
