Localization of Systemic Functional Linguistics: Review on Theoretical Studies at the 21st Symposium on Functional Linguistics and Discourse Analysis

摘要: 文章介绍了2017年11月1日至2日在北京外国语大学召开的第21届功能语言学与语篇分析论坛的理论研究。相关主旨发言主要是对功能语言学目标的整体把握，对词、词组层面相关领域的拓展，以及对小句层面相关研究的深化。本次论坛的开展对功能语言学的发展，尤其对功能语言学本土化研究有重要的推动作用。Abstract: This paper gives a brief introduction to theoretical studies at the 21st Symposium on Functional Linguistics and Discourse Analysis held in Beijing Foreign Studies University, Beijing, China, from Nov. 1 to Nov. 2, 2017. Related keynote speeches concern the four goals for functional linguistics, further studies about the word and the group level of the language, or further studies about the clause level. Overall, this forum has played a significant role in the development of functional linguistics, especially in the localization of functional linguistics.
