Abstract: This paper explores multi-modal teaching in appreciating classic American TV series with the aid of computer and network.This teaching model consists of multi-modal teaching resources, multi-modal teaching activities and multi-modal teaching environment.To test the practicality of this teaching model, a questionnaire is designed to collect the students' responses to this course.The findings indicate the feasibility and effectiveness of this teaching model and provide enlightenment for courses of appreciating English movie and TV series.
