摘要: 北京科技大学冶金与材料史研究所是国内较早从事专业科学技术史研究的机构之一，并在中国古代冶金史学术研究中做出了开创性成果。温故而知新，文章通过对冶金与材料史研究所的早期创建人之一——丘亮辉教授的访谈，追溯了该所早期创建和发展的艰难情况，其坚守科学求真，开拓创新的精神，仍是激励人们前行的动力源泉。Abstract: The Institute of History of Metallurgy and Materials in University of Science and Technology Beijing, one of the earliest institutes making a specialized study of history of science and technology, has gained a series of groundbreaking achievements in the field of Chinese archaeometallurgy.The paper traces the early creation and development of this institute, through interviews with Professor Qiu Liang-hui who is one of the early founders of the research institute.
