Abstract: Accompanied by the rising of multilingual communications,multilingual studies and the proposing of appliable linguistics,Systemic-functional Translation Studies(SFTS) has become an increasingly important branch in language-based translation studies. SFTS in the new era fully relies on systemic functional linguistics,adopts a multi-dimensional holistic view,proposes a comprehensive theory,employs corpus-based empirical methodology,and emphasizes on a mutual study between linguistics and translation studies. Having been expanded in both width and depth,SFTS has become a cross-disciplinary,multiperspective and multi-dimensional field of study. This paper summarizes and comments on its achievements and new features in the recent decade,and points out its future development trends.
