The Negotiation about the Questions of the Silver and Currency Reform Between China and America

摘要: 1934年下半年，美国政府实行一项给中国造成严重困难的白银政策，中国同美国就此问题进行了交涉，并被迫于1935年11月实行币制改革。币制改革牵涉到美、英、日的在华利益，围绕该问题，美国等列强制定了不同的对策。美国的态度经历了由消极观望到积极支持的转变。Abstract: In the second half of year 1934, the American Government carried on a silver policy which did great harm to China. China negotiated it with the American Government and in Nov. 1935 went on with currency reform which had something to do with the interests of America, Britain and Japan. The powers including America took some different countermeasures. The American attitude underwent the changes of watching positively to supporting actively.
