A Study of Foreign Language Teachers’ TPACK Structure

摘要: 研究利用Schmidt & Mishra (2009)和Sahin(2011)所设计的TPACK量表对65位大学英语教师TPACK结构进行了调查。结果发现:TPACK总体水平中等,其中PCK最高,TK最低。男教师的TK和TCK知识水平显著高于女教师。教师的教育经历对CK, PK, PCK水平有积极的促进作用。教师的职称与教师的CK、PK、TPK、TPACK存在正相关。综合研究结果,研究期望对外语教师专业发展有一定的理论指引和借鉴启发。Abstract: A survey of 65 college English teachers in Gansu was conducted using TPACK scale developed by Schmidt & Mishra (2009) and Sahin(2011). The results show that the mean score of TPACK falls into medium level with PCK the highest one and TK the lowest one; there is a significant difference between male and female teachers on TK and TCK dimensions; the education background has positive impact on CK, PK and PCK level; there is a positive correlation between the professional title and the four dimensions, CK, PK, TPK and TPACK. Based on the results, this research hopes to provide theoretical and practical guidance.
