Abstract: As a three-in-one book which includes poetry writing,translation and criticism,Lan Ming's Collected Poems and Papers by the late poet and poetry critic Lan Ming(1956-2015) not only showcases the portraits of the best Korean contemporary poets, especially the female poets, but also enables readers to perceive the internal connections of East Asian cultures, especially the horizontal links between China, Japan and South Korea, from the perspective of literature.Lan Ming's poems are exquisite,and their expression is very unique.The poems she translated perfectly embody the overall level and diversity of the contemporary poets in South Korea.Her analysis of the works of Korean and Japanese poets, especially those female poets, is very detailed, profound, and insightful.
